MODEL OVERVIEW
The BVS Series belt driven backward inclined Utility Vent Set fans from Soler & Palau USA offer an excellent
choice of product for all medium and high pressure exhaust or supply applications for commercial, institutional
or light industrial air moving projects. Models are supplied complete with motor mounted on an adjustable base;
v-belt drives; heavy-duty ball bearings and integral mounting platform.
The model BVS is a belt driven arrangement 10, Class I centrifugal fan with high efciency, backward inclined
non-overloading wheel. The self-contained packaged unit (also known as a “vent set” or “utility set”) is fully factory
assembled to reduce installation costs. Each complete fan is test run prior to shipment to provide smooth, vibration
free and consistently reliable operation, and will deliver years of dependable service with minimal maintenance
– all in the most economical manner. A full range of sizes (10 through 30) provides airow performance from 500
CFM to over 18,200 CFM with static pressure up to 5 in. w.g.
The model BVS is suitable for indoor or outdoor installation and with appropriate accessories it can be mounted
either on the roof or oor. The model BVS may also be suspended from structure overhead. Ductwork may be
connected to the inlet side of the fan, to the outlet, or both.
This series is suitable for general or grease laden airstream applications.
