The Port Status and Control screens allow you to check the status of the following:
• Serial port
• Ethernet port
• Ethernet Transceiver
•RF Ports
Checking the Serial Port Status
Use the 2.2.2 Serial Port Status screen to check serial port parameters and errors,

Port Number [rs232AsyncPortIndex] 1
The serial port number is 1.
Data Bits [rs232AsyncPortBits]
The number of bits in a character.
Parity [rs232AsyncPortParity]
The port’s sense of a character parity bit.
