Additional Capacity with Two Batteries
For sites where additional battery capacity is needed (for example, to enable backed-up loads to be powered from the batteries
for longer periods), two batteries may be connected to a single StorEdge Inverter.
In this configuration, only one battery operates at any given time – i.e. the two batteries provide additional capacity only, not
additional power.
The DC connection of the two batteries to the StorEdge Inverter is done in parallel through an external fused combiner box (not
provided by SolarEdge), with a fuse rating of 12A/600V.
The control and thermal connection of the second battery is daisy chained to that of the first battery.
