Chapter 4: Auto-transformer and Backed-up
Loads Panel Installation (for Backup)
The auto-transformer is used for backup power only, and is not mandatory if using
Smart Energy Management applications only. Refer to the table on page 16.
The auto-transformer connects to the AC side of the inverter. Since the inverter AC
connections are on its right side, it is recommended to position the auto-transformer to
the right of the inverter to simplify wiring.
