Problem

The inverter does not turn
on.
The short circuit jumper
has been removed from
the external devices
terminal block, but no
external shutdown switch
has been connected.
Reconnect the short circuit
jumper or make sure the
external shutdown switch is
properly connected (see
"External Rapid Shutdown"
on page143).
The external shutdown
switch (if connected) is in
the Off position.
Turn on the external
shutdown switch (see
"External Rapid Shutdown"
on page143).
A battery internal fault is
displayed on the
LCD:Battery Internal Fault
XXXX (ID: XX)
Fault # –according to
battery model. ID –
battery's Modbus ID.
Contact SolarEdge Support
Battery self test failed. One
of the following messages
is displayed for BAT1 or
BAT2 (if applicable):
N/A / FAILED /
FAILEDCHARGE /
FAILEDDISCHARGE
N/A - battery not tested.
FAILED - both charge
and discharge failed.
FAILEDCHARGE /
FAILEDDISCHARGE -
one of these functions
failed.
Check the battery
connections.
