Grid Connection Guidelines
l Equipmentgroundingtighteningtorques:4-6AWG:45lb-in,8AWG:40lb-in,10-14AWG:35lb-in.
l Theconduits,hubsandfittingsmustbesuitedforfieldwiringsystems.
l ThehubsandotherfittingsmustcomplywithUL514B.
l Useonlycopperconductorsratedforaminimumof90°C.
l FortheSE10KUS,SE20KUS,SE33.3KUSthreephaseinverterswhereoppositepolarityDCconductors
areroutedinthesameconduit,1000Vratedcablesmustbeused.
l UsetheconduitandwiringappropriatefortheinstallationlocationpertheNEC.Outdoor
installationsmustusecomponentsthatareratedNEMA3Rorhigher.

Setting the Inverter to Support 208V 3-wire Grid
SolarEdgeinvertersthatsupportthe208V3-wiregridareequippedwithtwofuseholdersandafusein
eachunit.ThepositionofthefuseconfigurestheACgridconnection:4-wireor3-wiregridconnection.
Bydefault,thefuseislocatedinthe4-wirefuseholderoftheinverter,andinthe3-wirefuseholderthere
isaplasticdummyfuse.
Tosettheinverterfor3-wiregridconnection,youmustmovethefusefromthe4-wirefuseholder,
markedasYGRID,tothe3-wirefuseholder,markedasGRID(seeFigure21).
To set the inverter for 208V 3-wire grid connection:
