Identifying the Inverter

RefertothestickerontheinverterthatspecifiesitsSerial NumberanditsElectrical Ratings.Providethe

serialnumberwhencontactingSolarEdgesupport.Theserialnumberisalsorequiredwhenopeninga

newsiteinthemonitoringplatform.

l ON/OFF switch:TurningthisswitchONstartstheoperationofthepoweroptimizers,enablespower

productionandallowstheinvertertobeginexportingpowertotheutilitygrid.TurningitOFF

reducesthepoweroptimizervoltagetoalowsafetyvoltageandinhibitsexportationofpower.When

thisswitchisOFF,theinvertercontrolcircuitryremainspoweredup.

l LCD buttons:Usedforaccessingconfigurationmenuoptionsanddisplayingstatusscreens,as

describedinConfiguringtheInverteronpage38.Pressingthesebuttonsproducesbeepingsoundsand

lightsuptheLCDfor30seconds.
