Appendix B: Installing Two Meters
This section describes connecting an external meter to an inverter equipped with a
built-in Revenue Grade Meter (RGM), which is located in the inverter's Safety Switch.

Connecting Two Meters
1.
Connect the external meter to the inverter as described in the section "wire the
meter:" on page16.
2.
Set the external meter's ID DIP switch settings. Refer to "ID DIPswitches" on page8.
3.
Set the external Termination DIP switch settings. Refer to "Termination DIPswitches"
on page9.
Configuring the Dual-Meter Connection
To configure the Dual-Meter connection using SetApp, refer to
Configuring the
Dual-Meter Connection
on page 35.
To configure the Dual-Meter connection using the device display, refer to
Configuring Dual-Meter Connection Using the Device Display
on page 36.
Configuring Dual-Meter Connection Using SetApp
The built-in RGM is pre-configured as a production meter and its settings should not be
changed. Verify the pre-configured parameters of the RGM and configure the
parameters of the external meter as described below.
1. From the SetApp main menu, select Communication è RS485-x è Meter 1
