To connect the Energy Meter to the Smart EV Charger:
1. Connect one end of the communication cable to the Energy Meter, as explained in
the Energy Meter's installation guide.
2.
Remove the seal from one of the openings in the communication gland at the
bottom of the Smart EV Charger and insert the RS485 wires from the meter through
the opening (see Figure 13 ).
3.
Remove the 3-pin connector from the RS485-1 port on the communication board
(see Figure 13 ).
