Opening Conduit Knockouts
Thisstepmaybeperformedaftermountingtheinverter.
1. MovetheSafetySwitchandtheinverterON/OFFswitchtoOFF.
NOTE
When the Safety Switch is OFF (for example during maintenance) it may be locked to
prevent safety hazard:
1. Move the Safety Switch to the Lock position.
2. Insert the lock through the knob opening and lock.
2. LoosenthescrewsonthefrontcoveroftheSafetySwitch,asshownbelow:

3. RemovetheSafetySwitchcover.
4. OpentheACandDCconduitknockouts:Theswitchhasknockoutslocatedatthebottom,
backandsidesoftheenclosure,eachwithtwosizes:¾''and1''.Openthenecessarypair
accordingtotheconduitsusedintheinstallation,takingcarenottointerferewithanyof
theinternalcomponents.AUnibitdrillmaybeused.
