18 SOLAR-BREEZE NX2
GETTING STUCK UNDER A ROCK
OUTCROPPING OR OTHER OBSTRUCTION
Occasionally, pools may also have rock outcroppings or other
obstructions where the nose of the Solar-Breeze NX2 will get
caught underneath. As described above, this can sometimes
cause the unit to get stuck and be unable to move. Once
again, adjusting the water level up or down 1” will normally
address this problem.
In some custom designed pools Solar-Breeze may gets stuck in
certain places as outlined below:
1. Getting stuck at the pool skimmer inlet – When pool pump
is running, SB do not have enough power to pull out from the
skimmer inlet
2. Against the wall – unable to reverse even without being
stuck on anything; on infinity pool where no wall surface for
the bumper wheel to engage and turn
3. Under the rock overhang – unit getting stuck under the rock
4. Over the bottom cleaner hose – unit climbs over hose part
way and then getting stuck
5. Getting stuck on ladder and similar items in the pool
6. On steps – pontoon getting stuck
7. On slopped beach entry - pontoon getting stuck
8. In deep narrow sections of the pool – it is too deep for the
SB to back out and turn to go away
