W ARNINGS AND C AUTIONS
This is the safety alert symbol. It is used to alert
individuals to potential personal injury hazards.
Obey all safety messages that follow this symbol to
avoid possible personal injury or death.
WARNING
Indicates a hazardous situation, which if not avoided,
could result in death or serious bodily injury.
CAUTION
Indicates a hazardous situation, which if not avoided,
may result in minor or moderate bodily injury.
NOTICE
Indicates a situation that may result in equipment-
related damage.
G ENERAL S AFETY :
WARNING E LECTROCUTION H AZARD . ALWAYS maintain at
least 10 feet (3 meters) from electrical sources. This machine is
not electrically insulated and will not provide protection from
contact with or proximity to electrical power lines. Obey all local
and governmental regulations regarding required clearance from
electrical power lines. Failure to follow this warning could result
in death or serious bodily injury.
WARNING Always wear appropriate safety equipment
including gloves and eye protection.
WARNING F ALL H AZARD . ALWAYS use a ladder that
meets or exceeds the standards and requirements of the
American National Standards Institute and the Occupational
Safety and Health Administration. ALWAYS follow the
manufacturer’s instructions for ladder safety. Failure to follow
this warning could result in death or serious bodily injury.
WARNING R ISK OF FIRE . Keep all sources of heat and
flame away from the awning canopy. Fabric is
NOT fireproof.
CAUTION Always use appropriate lifting devices
and/or helpers when lifting or holding heavy objects.
