1. System Requirements
You may install BitDefender Internet Security 2010 only on computers running the
following operating systems:
⚫ Windows XP (32/64 bit) with Service Pack 2 or higher
⚫ Windows Vista (32/64 bit) or Windows Vista with Service Pack 1 or higher
⚫ Windows 7 (32/64 bit)
Before installation, make sure that your computer meets the minimum hardware
and software requirements.
Note
To find out the Windows operating system your computer is running and hardware
information, right-click My Computer on the desktop and then select Properties
from the menu.
1.1. Minimal System Requirements
⚫ 450 MB available free hard disk space
⚫ 800 MHz processor
⚫ RAM Memory:
▸ 512 MB for Windows XP
▸ 1 GB for Windows Vista and Windows 7
⚫ Internet Explorer 6.0
⚫ .NET Framework 1.1 (also available in the installer kit)
1.2. Recommended System Requirements
⚫ 600 MB available free hard disk space
⚫ Intel CORE Duo (1.66 GHz) or equivalent processor
⚫ RAM Memory:
▸ 1 GB for Windows XP and Windows 7
▸ 1.5 GB for Windows Vista
⚫ Internet Explorer 7 (or higher)

Antiphishing protection is provided only for:
⚫ Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher
⚫ Mozilla Firefox 2.5
⚫ Yahoo Messenger 8.5
⚫ Windows Live Messenger 8
