NYLON
Nylon is the most popular carpet ber
option. It is the strongest and most durable
ber available. Nylon is the best choice for
high-trafc areas.
POLYESTER
Polyester combines superior stain and fade
resistance with vibrant coloration. Thanks
to recent advances, several polyester styles
are made using polyethylene terephthalate
(P.E.T.), a ber derived from recycled plastic
bottles that’s very soft to the touch.
TRIEXTA
™
Triexta
™
, found in our SoftSpring
™
and
Platinum Plus
®
Collections, is a unique
ber type made with 39% corn sugars,
a renewable resource. Carpet made with
Triexta
™
offers extreme softness and a high
level of stain resistance.
OLEFIN
Olen is the least expensive carpet ber. In
addition to being very stain resistant, olen
isn’t affected by UV rays. It is often used for
indoor/outdoor carpets.
WOOL
Wool is the premier carpet ber. It offers
excellent durability with a soft, luxurious
feel. Wool carpets are only available in
select The Home Depot stores and online.
