Batteries
The NetXpert 1400 is powered by a rechargeable Lithium ion
battery.
To charge the battery, plug the charger into the side port and
then plug the charger into the power source.
NetXpert 1400 battery is not user serviceable. In the event
you need to remove the battery, unscrew the back panel of
the NetXpert 1400 and unplug the battery from the NetXpert
1400. Be sure to remove all the leads connecting the battery
to the device.
NOTE: The advanced Lithium ion battery is designed to last
the life of the unit and should not have to be replaced.
Lithium ion batteries are hazardous waste and should be
disposed of in compliance with local, state, and federal
hazardous waste regulations.
Cleaning
Use a clean, damp cloth to clean the NetXpert 1400.
Before cleaning, disconnect all cables from the NetXpert
1400. Failing to disconnect cables can damage the device
and cause personal injury.
Do not use harsh cleaners, abrasives, or solvents.
Storage
When not in use, store the NetXpert 1400 in the included
protective case.
Do not expose the NetXpert 1400 to high temperatures
(above 80°C) or humidity. See the specifications section
for temperature limits.
