Recall Save Data

This chapter will explain the screens presented as you use your

LANEXPERT to recall internal or external saved data.

Select RECALL from the HOME screen with the stylus. The

LANEXPERT starts looking for a link connection on either port. Once the

LANEXPERT links the Status Indicators (LEDs) for the Ports will turn to a

solid color depending on the speed it is connected. (i.e. Red = 10Mbit,

Orange = 100Mbit and Green = 1000Mbit).

NOTE: The

LANEXPERT

does not need to connect to the network to

see saved data. Connecting to the network allows the user to get an IP

address from the DHCP server to plug into the

LANEXPERT

Console

Application on the computer.

NOTE: The

LANEXPERT

can not recall saved capture files. These

files have to be opened with Wireshark or equivalent on a computer.
