Handling the Battery Charger

WARNING
Before using the battery charger, receive instruction from SoftBank Robotics or a contracted firm and
thoroughly understand the battery charger’s guide for correct operation.
Do not use the battery charger at or near a place with dust, salt, corrosive gas, or flammable gas.
Do not insert metal pins, etc. in the air vents in the battery charger.
May cause electric shock.
Use the battery charger in an environment with an ambient temperature of 0°C to 45°C, and humidity of 20%
to 85%. When not using the battery charger, store in an environment with an ambient temper ature of -10°C to
60°C, and humidity of 20% to 85%.
Only use power cables with labels for your country (country name) of residence. Do not use other power
cables.
May cause fire or malfunction.
Do not connect to any battery other than the supplied battery.
May cause malfunction or fire.
The battery charger sometimes becomes hot. Be careful during and immediately after charging.
Make sure not to cover the battery charger with fabric, etc. Maintain conditions that allow adequate h eat
dissipation, and do not use or leave near a source of heat, or where exposed to water or direct sunlight.
Do not use where subject to vibration, impact, etc.
Check that the supplied voltage is appropriate for the battery charger.
Do not use any power source or voltage other than that specified (AC 100 V to 240 V, 50 Hz to 60 Hz).
When recharging, do not connect any other electric devices to the same outlet.
Lowered voltage may affect the battery charger.
Make sure that dirt or other foreign matter do not adhere to the battery charger.
Do not use in a dusty place. If the plug is dusty, unplug it from the outlet and wipe with a dry cloth.
Do not use the battery charger or power cable if damaged.
May cause ignition, electric shock, malfunction, etc.
The battery charger is designed specially for the machine. Use only the supplied special power cable.
May cause overheating, ignition, electric shock, malfunction with the machine or battery charger. Do not use the
power cable with another product.
The battery charger is specifically for being placed sideways. Do not use it placed standing or upside down.
Always unplug the battery charger from the outlet if not using it for a long time or when carrying out
maintenance on it.
