Viewing VPN Tunnels
You can view a list of currently established VPN tunnels. VPN tunnels are

• Site-to-
A tunnel is created whenever your computer attempts any kind of
communication with a computer at the VPN site. The tunnel is closed
when not in use for a period of time.

Remote Access VPN sites configured for Automatic Login,
Site VPN Gateways and PPPoE tunnels
Note: Although the VPN tunnel is automatically closed, the site remains
open, and if you attempt to communicate with the site, the tunnel will be
reestablished.
• Remote Access VPN sites configured for Manual Login
A tunnel is created whenever your computer attempts any kind of
communication with a computer at the VPN site, after you have manually
the site. All open tunnels connecting to the site are closed logged on to
when you manually log off.
