The robust CHS 7P offers maximum performance, with a powerful Class 2 laser so you
can successfully scan in the harshest conditions — even VIN bar codes through car
windshields outdoors in broad daylight! The latest laser technology enables you to
scan even damaged, poor quality or hard-to-read bar codes. SocketScan software
directs scanned data directly into any Windows, Palm, RIM, or Symbian program.
Powerful Bluetooth Radio
Bluetooth wireless technology transforms how
devices connect together, providing you with
mobility like never before. The CHS features a
powerful Class 1 Bluetooth radio that enables
connections at the maximum possible range of
300 feet (100 m) — even when connected to the
weaker Class 2 Bluetooth radios found in many
mobile computers.
Error Proof Data and Automatic Connections
The Socket Error Proof Protocol ensures that scanned data is correctly received by the
host computer by validating data in real time. Socket Connect!Agent software for
Windows Mobile and XP makes Bluetooth easy to use by automatically configuring and
managing the wireless connection.
Rugged and Low Power Design
The CHS 7P has a rugged casing that is dust, water
and shock resistant and can sustain multiple drops
at 5 feet. It uses minimal power, so you can use it
for a full workday without recharging the batteries.
