Bluetooth Connection Mode (ADVANCED Users Only)
SPP Acceptor Mode
Changes the CHS to Bluetooth Serial Port Profile (SPP)
mode as an acceptor
(waits for computer / device to initiate connection).
SPP Initiator Mode
Changes the CHS to Bluetooth Serial Port Profile (SPP) mode as an initiator.
Use barcode generating software or website (e.g., http://barcode.tec-it.com)
to create a barcode with the following data:
#FNC SPP Initiator aabbccddeeff#
Where aabbccddeeff is the Bluetooth Device Address of the computer /
device you want to connect the CHS to.
Recommended barcode (module) width: 2-3cm

HID Acceptor Mode
Changes the CHS to Bluetooth Human Interface Device (HID) mode as an
acceptor (waits for computer / device to initiate connection).
HID Initiator Mode
Changes the CHS to Bluetooth Human Interface Device (HID) mode as an
initiator. Use barcode generating software or website (e.g.,
http://barcode.tec-it.com) to create a barcode with the following data:
#FNC HID Initiator aabbccddeeff#
Where aabbccddeeff is the Bluetooth Device Address of the computer /
device you want to connect the CHS to.
Recommended barcode (module) width: 2-3 cm

Data Mode
Raw Mode
Configures the CHS to raw mode (i.e., all scan data is sent as raw
bytes instead of packets).
Packet Mode
Configures the CHS to packet mode (i.e., the CHS encapsulates scan
data into packets, with header and tail information to ensure integrity of
data when received by host).
