Scanner Settings
You can configure scanner settings only when the CHS is connected to
your smartphone.
1. In SocketScan 10, click Menu | Scanner Settings. The CHS will beep twice,
indicating a disconnection.
2. If prompted to connect to the CHS, click Yes. The CHS will beep once,
indicating it has connected to your phone.
3. The Scanner Settings screen will report the Bluetooth name of the CHS it has
connected to.
General Scanner Info
You can view Scanner info only when the CHS is connected to your
smartphone.
1. In SocketScan Settings, you can access Scanner Info by clicking on the main
screen.
2. Besides viewing general scanner properties, you can also place the cursor in
the Scanner Name field to change the Bluetooth friendly name of your CHS.
After making any changes, click Menu | Save.
