ATTACHING THE TETHER (OPTIONAL)
1. Use a coin or screwdriver to unlock and remove the battery cover. Turn the
lock underneath the scanner to a horizontal position to unlock.
2. Remove the battery cover.
The Bluetooth Device Address (BDA) is printed on a label inside the
battery compartment. The address is used to identify the CHS.
3. Attach the tether to the battery cover. Wrap the string loop around the inside
part of the lock.
4. Replace the battery cover and turn the lock to a vertical position to secure it.
WARNING: Do not remove the pre-installed battery!
