SYMPTOM
: While scanning barcodes, I get an error message saying error -45
(ESKT_QUEUERESET)..
POSSIBLE REASONS SOLUTION
You are scanning barcodes containing a lot
of data too fast, and the buffer is full.
Scan barcodes more slowly.
SYMPTOM: When I try to use SocketScan 10 Keyboard Wedge or Scanner Settings in landscape
mode, it doesn’t appear correctly.
POSSIBLE REASONS SOLUTION
This release of SocketScan 10 does not
support landscape mode for Windows
Mobile.
Use your device in Portrait mode and upgrade your
SocketScan 10 software when a later release is
available.
SYMPTOM: .The CHS doesn’t work with my Windows Phone 7 device.
POSSIBLE REASON SOLUTION
Windows Phone 7 is not compatible with
the Bluetooth HID or SPP profile.
Unless Microsoft adds support for HID or SPP to Windows
Phone 7, you need to use a different device, such as the
Socket SoMo 650.
TROUBLESHOOTING FOR ANDROID OS
SYMPTOM
: The CHS won’t reconnect to my Samsung Galaxy or Dell Streak any more.
POSSIBLE REASON SOLUTION
This is a known issue for Bluetooth for
these devices.
Disable and enable Bluetooth on your Android device
and try again.
