STEP 3: Connect Modem and Notebook with Bluetooth
WARNING!
Do not plug the modem into a digital PBX line. The modem
will not work and may be damaged.
1. Connect the Socket Cordless 56K Modem to an analog
phone line. Use the included retractable cable.
2. Turn on the Cordless 56K Modem by pushing the power
switch up. To run the modem on AC power, use the
included AC adapter.
3. Click Finder | Applications | Utilities | Bluetooth Serial Utility.
4. At the bottom of the Bluetooth Serial Utility screen, click New…
5. Enter a name for the device connection. For Port Direction, select
Outgoing. For Port Type, select Modem. Click Select Device.
