Troubleshooting
SYMPTOM: When I press the power button, the SoMo does not turn on.
Possible Reason
Solution
The SoMo battery does not have adequate
charge.
Plug the SoMo into AC power or insert a charged
battery.
The SoMo hold switch is on.
Slide up the hold switch on the left side of the
SoMo. If you have a new SoMo, remove the
sticker on top of the hold switch.
SYMPTOM: I connected the SoMo to a PC via the USB cable, but the SoMo does not charge.
Possible Reason
Solution
Your SoMo runs Windows Mobile 6
Service Pack 7 or later and has USB
charging disabled.
Tap Start | Settings | System | Power Plus |
Advanced. Select Enable USB charging and tap
OK.
