Using

Microsoft

ActiveSync

for

the

first time

NOTE: For computers running Windows Vista, the Windows Mobile Device

Center will appear instead.

When you connect your SoMo 650 to your computer for the first time, the

'New Partnership' setup wizard will automatically appear on your computer

screen.

NOTE: If the wizard does not automatically appear, open ActiveSync manually by

clicking the

Windows Start menu > All Programs > Microsoft ActiveSync.

Follow the setup wizard’s simple instructions. Once completed, the first

synchronization will start automatically.

After the synchronization is complete, you will see that the Calendar,

Contacts and Tasks on your SoMo 650 have been updated.

The next time you wish to use ActiveSync, you just need to plug your

SoMo 650 into your computer. ActiveSync will then open automatically and

update your device.
