Accessory Instructions
Wireless Headphones
The unit includes a built-in single channel infrared transmitter for use with wireless IR
headphones. The volume can be adjusted with the control on each headset. The wireless
headphones must be used within a line of sight from the transmitter as infrared transmission, like
visible light travels only in a straight line. The IR transmitters are located just above the top of the
LCD screen.
Wired Headphone
There are two 1/8" (3.5mm) headphone jacks on the unit that can be used with any standard
stereo headphones (not included) Rotate the plastic cover to access the jacks. Remember to
close the cover when the jacks are not in use.
Wireless FM Transmitter (may be optional)
Your video system may be equipped with an RF transmitter, which allows you to listen to the
audio signal through your vehicle's radio to the selected frequency, (
odd:
88.3,88.7,89.1,89.5,89.9,90.3,Mhz (when odd stations are enabled) even:
88.4,88.8,89.2,89.6,90.0,90.4 Mhz (when even stations enabled)
When the transmitter is
turned on, it may interfere with normal radio station listening. In this case you must turn off the
transmitter.
AUX AV Input
An additional AV input may be connected to this unit such as video game system, or other AV
source. To play the 2nd AV source, turn the unit on and press the SOURCE button on the remote
control until " AV " is displayed on the screen. Turn the source component on with its power
button or remote control. The system is now ready to play the audio and video signals from the
source connected to "AV INPUT" port on front panel. Rotate the plastic cover to access the jacks.
Remember to close the cover when the jacks are not in use.
Please note" AV INPUT " source input is exposed for the user to be able to temporarily connect
additional AV source, such as games, camcorders, etc.. See page 7 for further
description of the "AV INPUT" location.
USB Input
A USB device may be operated by first connecting the device with the USB connection on the
unit. The USB device can be played by selecting “DVD” as the video source. The USB device will
automatically start up upon connection, thereby overriding the DVD disc. Disconnect the USB
device to play discs. Rotate the plastic cover to access the USB connection. Remember to close
the cover when the USB Jack is not in use.
