HOW-TO: ROOFTOP SNOW REMOVAL

SnowPeeler is uniquely designed with a patent-pending, reversible frame adapter.

This enables the user to effectively remove snow while working from the ground level

or while positioned at the peak of the roof. With the rooftop configuration, the

sectional pole is mounted on the top of the cutting frame in the opposite direction

of the vinyl slide. With this application, the vinyl slide hangs over the edge of the roof

and the cutting frame is pulled towards the user at the peak of the roof.

For rooftop snow removal, it is recommended to use SnowPeeler Premium which

includes a 15 FT vinyl snow slide with a 1 LB counter weight integrated in the tail. The

15 FT snow slides ensures that the tail of the slide will extend beyond the

gutter/lower eave enabling snow to flow easily from the roof. An optional XL Slide Kit

– 15FT can be purchased separately and added to the original SnowPeeler which

included a 9FT vinyl slide.

Safety

When working from the rooftop, safety is critical. Removing snow while on the roof

can lead to falls resulting in severe injury and even accidental death. SnowPeeler

should only be used from the rooftop when the user is safely secured with an

approved fall protection safety harness. Safety harnesses can be purchased at your

local hardware stores or online.
