User Points are displayed on the map as Green Camera icons
For the Syrius to alert you to a user point correctly the user point
will need to be edited with the correct information such as the
user point type and speed. (the direction is saved automatically).
Please refer to 4.3.1 Editing User Points for full editing
instructions.
9.4.1 Troubleshooting – Saving New User Points
When you attempt to save the new User Point and the Information window with ‘Save user point?’ is not displayed it
means that the memory in your Syrius is completely full. If you want to store any different coordinates, you will have to
either delete some or all of the existing coordinates stored in the unit’s memory.
If you have subscribed and downloaded the Enigma™ camera database on to your Syrius you will be unable to store
User points if your are in close proximity to xed cameras which are already in the database and are shown as

9.5 Fixed Camera Pre-Alert Setting
The pre-alert setting means that you will receive an audible and a visual alert of a xed speed camera or risk zone at an
automatically preset distance when utilising GPS. Auto-range simply selects the correct alert distance to each camera
detected depending on the speed limit of the road the camera is situated on. The different alert distances are shown
below.
