Snooper Laser Pod enables you to quickly and easily add Laser detection to almost any portable satellite navigation system. It is easy to set up and even easier to use.
Using Laser Pod with your portable satellite navigation system Using the mounting pads provided, find a suitable position to mount your Laser Pod to the rear side of your sat nav. Laser Pod needs to be positioned so that you can see the LED visual alert and so that the laser receiver has a clear view of the road when your sat nav is mounted in your vehicle. Please refer to the examples below for suitable positions.
Connecting Laser Pod Your Laser Pod has been supplied with a 5V car charger and three different connector cables. First, connect the car charger supplied to the DC 5V In socket on the underside of your Laser Pod. Next, select the connector cable that is compatible with the DC 5V In socket on your sat nav. Once you have selected the appropriate connector cable, connect it between the DC 5V Out socket on Laser Pod and the DC 5V In socket on your sat nav as per the diagram below.
Using Laser Pod as a stand-alone laser detector. Laser Pod can be used as a stand-alone laser detector without a satellite navigation system. Mounting Laser Pod on the windscreen of your vehicle You can mount Laser Pod anywhere on the front windscreen of your vehicle using the suction cup bracket provided. Simply slide the suction cup bracket into the slot on the back of the unit, then select an area on the windscreen where Laser Pod will have a clear view of the road.

Laser Pod can be mounted with the blue LED visual alert positioned above or below the mirror as per the photographs below. If this is possible, mount your Laser Pod using the double sided pads provided. Remove one side of the double sided pad and attach the pad to the front of your Laser Pad. Next remove the other side of the double sided pad and then put Laser Pod into position.
Laser Alerts Laser Pod has been designed to detect every type of Laser gun in operation throughout Europe. When your Laser Pod detects Laser the Blue LED will flash and the unit will emit an audible alert.
