Securestationaryidlerwith mountingbolt.
Placesparkplugwire ontosparkplug.
Setpark brake.
StartEngine.
Visuallyinspecttractiondrivebeltfor movement.
Whenproperlyadjusted,the tractiondrivebelt shouldnot
haveany movement or rotationwith the enginerunning
and parkbrakeengaged.
Shouldmovement be present,readjusttractiondrive belt
toreleasebeittension asdescribedinpreviousinstructions.
Movetractorto a firm,levelsurface. /
Turn engine"OFF'.
Raisehood,removesparkplugwirefrom sparkplugand
securewire away fromplug.
Movebladeengagementleverdownto"OFF".See Figure ._._:
