Installation Instructions

Winch Plate (Part# 2803)

87-06 Jeep Wranglers

10 x 25 mm bolt (For Fairlead) 2

½” lock washer 4

10 mm lock washer 4

½” flat washer 4

10 mm flat washer 2

12 mm x 40 mm bolt 2

10 x 50 mm bolt 2

12mm flat washer 2

10 mm lock nut 2

12mm lock washer 2

¾ O.D. x 1/4” tall spacer

STEP 1: Remove the front plastic frame/stabilizer bar cover. (Fig A) NOTE: The stabilizer cover will not

be re-used.

STEP 2: Remove front bumper hardware and tow hooks (if equipped). (Fig B)

STEP 3: Remove the front (only) stabilizer mounting bolt. (Fig B) When mounting plate you will use the

included 10 x 50mm bolts.

NOTE: Carefully read entire instructions thoroughly before attempting to assemble and/or

install this product. These steps are in conjunction with vehicles with the O.E.M. front

bumper. Similar steps can be used with other after-market bumpers.

Remove front

stabilizer cover.

Remove top bumper bolts and

front stabilizer mounting bolt.

(TJ) 4- ½ x 1 ½ bolts (Torque to 75 ft. lbs), 2- 10 x 50mm bolts, ¼” spacers (Fig C) B. (YJ) 4- ½ x 1 ½ bolts (Torque to 75 ft. lbs) The large flat washers can be used as spacers. (If needed) Use included ½” bolts to install plate. (TJ) Place spacer between winch plate and stabilizer bracket.
