LIMITED WARRANTY CONT’D
Smith & Wesson will not be responsible for:
• Defects or malfunctions resulting from careless handling,
unauthorized adjustments or modifications made or
attempted by anyone other than a qualified gunsmith follow-
ing Smith & Wesson authorized procedures, or beyond the
disassembly instructions in this manual.
•
Use of defective or improper ammunition, corrosion, neglect,
abuse, ordinary wear and tear, or unreasonable use.
• Criminal misuse, negligence, resale, use under the
influence of drugs or alcohol.
Smith & Wesson reserves the right to determine what constitutes
ordinary wear and tear.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have
other rights that vary from state to state.
Note: All liability is excluded in the event that the instructions in
this manual are not observed.
THE SMITH & WESSON HEIRLOOM WARRANTY
Smith & Wesson Corp. warrants
its Elite Series™ shotguns to be
free from defects in materials
and workmanship. This Heirloom
Warranty is effective from the
date of purchase and lasts as
long as the original consumer
purchaser, and any registered
heir to the original consumer pur-
chaser, owns the shotgun. The original consumer purchaser
must notify Smith & Wesson of the heir entitled to this Heirloom
Warranty by completing the Heirloom Warranty Registration Card
and returning it, together with a copy of the original purchase
receipt, and ATF Form 4473, to Smith & Wesson at 2100
Roosevelt Avenue, Springfield, Massachusetts 01104. Any such
defects of which Smith & Wesson receives written notice during
the term of this warranty, will be remedied by Smith & Wesson
without charge, within a reasonable time after such notification
and delivery of the firearm as provided below.
This warranty does not cover wood in the stock or fore-end of
the shotgun.
