Manual

•Following reassembly, and
prior to attempting to load your
pistol, always make certain
that the pistol is in proper
working order and that there
are no unusual conditions to prevent its safe
operation. Follow all of the inspection
procedures outlined on Page 14 of this manual.
LUBRICATION
There are four (4) lubrication points where a single drop of
firearms lubricant should be applied. This will assure proper
lubrication of your pistol. Care should be taken not to
over-lubricate. Excess lubricant can collect large quantities of
unburnt powder and carbon residue, which could interfere with
proper functioning of the pistol. (Figures 27 & 28)

•While gently pressing down, move the slide fully to the rear and
engage the slide stop (Figure 23.
•Capture the slide with the index finger of your shooting hand to
prevent inadvertent release from the frame, causing possible
injury (Figure 24).
•Grasp the barrel in free hand by muzzle end and engage the
sight bridge hook with the frame hook and pull forward
(Figure 25).
•While gently lowering and pulling the barrel forward, fully
depress the take down button with thumb. Ensure that the
barrel stud is guided into its opening in the frame. When the
barrel is fully seated, release the take down button (Figure 26).
