Important Note to the Customer
Do not attempt to install or operate 
your appliance until you have read 
the safety precautions in this manual. 
Safety items throughout this manual 
are labeled with a WARNING or 
CAUTION statement based on the 
risk type.
Warnings and important instructions 
appearing in this guide are not 
meant to cover all possible 
conditions and situations that may 
occur. Common sense, caution, and 
care must be exercised with 
installing, maintaining, or operating 
your appliance.
• Check for proper installation and 
use of the anti-tip bracket. 
Carefully tip the range forward 
by pulling it from the back to 
ensure that the anti-tip bracket 
engages the range leg and 
prevents tip-over. The range 
should not move more than 1” 
(2.5cm).
• Read all instructions before using 
this appliance.
• Keep these instructions with your 
owner's guide for future 
reference.
Unpacking and installation
• Remove all tape and packaging 
before using the appliance. 
Dispose of the carton and plastic 
bags after unpacking the 
appliance. Never allow children 
to play with packaging material. 
Do not remove the wiring label 
and other information attached to 
the appliance. Do not remove 
model/serial number plate.
• Cold temperatures can damage 
the electronic control. If this 
appliance has not been used for 
a long time, make sure that it has 
been stored at temperatures 
above 32ºF (0ºC) for at least 3 
hours before turning on power to 
the appliance.

• A child or adult 
could tip the 
range over and 
be killed.
• Verify the anti-tip 
device has been properly 
installed and engaged.
• Ensure the anti-tip device is re-
engaged when the range is 
moved.
• Do not operate the range 
without the anti-tip device in 
place and engaged.
• Failure to follow these 
instructions can result in death or 
serious burns to children and 
adults.
