Preliminary operations
In case there is residual water inside the
reservoir:
1. Open the door.
2. Place a jug or container on the open door.
3. Remove the loading wand from its holder.
4. Press the START button to start draining
the water into the jug (or container).
The residual water begins to drain into the jug
(or container).
5. Wait for the end of the drain flow.
6. Empty the water in the jug (or container).
7. Touch the CONFIRM button to
continue the function.
Reservoir filling
1. Mix 100 g of citric acid with 650 ml of
water in a jug.
2. Remove the loading wand from its holder.
3. Place the end of the tube at the bottom of
the jug (or container).
4. Touch the START button to start filling
the reservoir with the descaling solution.
5. When finished, shake the loading wand to
remove any residue.
6. Place the loading wand back in its holder.
7. Remove the jug (or container).
Boiler descaling function
1. Close the door
2. Touch the START button to start the
function.
3. Descaling starts.
After completion of the descaling process the
request to drain the descaling solution will be
displayed.
Reservoir draining
1. Open the door
2. Place a jug or container on the open door.
3. Remove the loading wand from its holder.
4. Press the START button to start draining
the descaling solution into the jug (or
container).
The descaling solution begins to flow into the
jug.
5. Wait for the end of the drain flow.
6. Empty the descaling solution from in the jug
(or container).
Cleaning the reservoir and the water circuit
Once the descaling solution has been drained,
the appliance starts the cleaning procedure for
the reservoir and the hydraulic circuit.
The display will show the request to fill the
reservoir with water.
1. Fill a jug or a container with approx. 2 litres
of clean water.
2. Open the appliance door.
3. Place the jug (or container) on the open
door.
4. Remove the loading wand from its holder.
5. Place the end of the tube at the bottom of
the jug (or container).
After this, the appliance will not allow
any other function to be run until a new
descaling process is performed.
From now on, it will no longer be
possible to cancel the descaling
process.
Do not use lactic acid or other
descaling agents.
Take care: the descaling solution may
be still hot.
Use cold tap water which is not too
hard, softened water or still mineral
water.
Do not use distilled water, tap water
with a high chloride content (> 40 mg/
l), or other liquids.
The overflowing of water inside the
oven cavity is not intended as a
malfunction, rather it is part of the rinsing
procedure.
