Some models may be equipped with an
electric hot plate. These are controlled by a
selector; to switch them on, turn the knob to
the desired position.
When switching the plate on for
the first time, or in cases where this
has not been used for a long time,
heat it for 30 minutes at minimum
power (without adding pans), to
eliminate any humidity.
