To delete a configured static route, use the following command.
Command Mode Description
no ip route A.B.C.D SUBNET-MASK {GATEWAY

Global Deletes a configured static route.
To configure a default gateway, use the following command.
Command Mode Description
ip route default {GATEWAY |
null} [<1-255>]
Global Configures a default gateway.
To delete a configure default gateway, use the following command.
Command Mode Description
no ip route default {GATEWAY |
null} [<1-255>]
Global Deletes a default gateway.
To display a configured static route, use the following command.
Command Mode Description
show ip route [ A.B.C.D |
A.B.C.D/M ]
Shows configured routing information.
show ip route database
Enable

Shows configured routing information with IP routing
table database.

To specify a description on an interface, use the following command.

description DESCRIPTION Specifies a description on an interface.

Deletes a specified description.
The following is the example of specifying a description on the interface 1.
SWITCH(config)# interface 1

SWITCH(config-if)# show interface 1
