9 | Disable Wireless Zero Configuration
in Windows XP
It is recommended that you use the SMC2802W Configuration Utility to manage your 54 Mbps
Wireless PCI Card. If you are using the SMC utility in Windows XP, you will need to disable the
Wireless Zero Configuration. Follow the instructions below.
Go to [Control Panel] and open [Network Connections]. Right-click the [Wireless Network
Connection], and select [Properties]. Select the "Wireless Networks" tab and uncheck the [Use
Windows to configure my wireless network settings] check box.
