9 | Disable Wireless Zero Configuration
in Windows XP
It is recommended that you use the SMC2536W-AG Configuration Utility to manage your wireless
connection. If you are using the SMC utility in Windows XP, you will need to disable the Wireless Zero
Configuration. Follow the instructions below.
Go to [Control Panel] and open [Network Connections]. Right-click the [Wireless Network Connection],
and select [Properties]. Select the "Wireless Networks" tab and uncheck the [Use Windows to config-
ure my wireless network settings] check box.
NOTE: The Wireless Zero Configuration (WZC) and SMC2536W-AG Universal WLAN Utility
cannot be used simultaneously. If you are using the SMC2536W-AG Universal WLAN Utility,
you MUST disable the WZC (and vice versa).
