VDSL communication parameters can be set for individual ports, or
multiple parameters can be defined in a profile and applied globally to the
switch or to a group of ports. Alarm thresholds can be defined in a profile
and then applied globally to the switch or to selected ports. The switch also
provides an extensive listing of VDSL statistics.
For intelligent CPEs, firmware can be remotely upgraded.
