The installation screens are similar for all Microsoft Windows systems. The installation interface for only Windows XP is shown in this user guide. 2.1.2 1. Software Installation for Windows XP IMPORTANT: Do not plug in the EZ Connect™ g Wireless Cardbus Adapter until instructed.

Selecting Install Driver Only will install the drivers only. After selecting, click [Next] to continue the Installation. With the connector pin end facing the CardBus slot and the label facing up, slide the Adapter into the CardBus slot until it locks in place. 3. This chapter describes how to configure your SMC Wireless Adapter for wireless connectivity on your Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) and use the data security encryption features. After Installing the SMCWCU icon will appear in your system tray. It appears at the bottom of the screen, and shows the wireless connection status. If the icon is red, there is no wireless connection.

To modify a configuration profile, select the configuration profile from the Profile list and click Modify.
