OPERATION MODE
The Operation Mode Configuration page allows you to set up the mode
suitable for your network environment.

The following items are displayed on this page:
Bridge Mode An access point mode that extends a wired LAN to
wireless clients.
Router ModeThe Internet gateway mode that connects a wired LAN
and wireless clients to an Internet access device, such as a cable or
DSL modem. This is the factory set default mode.
AP Client Mode — The Mini Broadband Router acts as a client
connecting to an available wireless network provided by another access
point or wireless router. This functionality allows other Ethernet-
enabled devices, like gaming consoles, NAS storage servers, or PCs/
laptops without built-in wireless support, to be added into a wireless
network.
In order to connect to a wireless network in AP Client mode, it is
necessary to know the following information: the network name
(SSID), the frequency channel (1-13), the type of security (WEP, WPA/
WPA2), and the security password (if any). For more information, see
