show logging
Use this command to display the logging configuration, along with any
system and event messages stored in memory.
Syntax
show logging {flash | ram}
flash - Event history stored in flash memory (i.e., permanent
memory).
ram - Event history stored in temporary RAM (i.e., memory flushed
on power reset).
Default Setting
None
Command Mode
Privileged Exec
Command Usage
This command shows the following information:
Syslog logging
– Whether or not system logging has been enabled via
the logging on command.
History logging in FLASH/RAM
– The message level(s) that are
reported based on the logging history command.
Any system and event messages stored in memory.
