Configuring Device Information
Use the Device Information page to identify the system by providing a
descriptive name, location, and other information.
Field Attributes
• Device Name – Name assigned to the switch system.
• Device Content – Lists the supported ports or other information.
• Device Location – Specifies the system location.
• Device Description – Descriptive information about the system.
Console – Click Switch Static Configuration
=> Administration
Configuration
=> Device Information. Specify the system name, location,
and other information, and save your changes.
Note: Maximum string length is 32 alphanumeric characters.
