Network Aggregation Plan
With 24 or 48 parallel bridging ports (i.e., 24 or 48 distinct collision
domains), either of the switches can collapse a complex network down into
a single efficient bridged node, increasing overall bandwidth and
throughput.
In the figure below, the 10/100/1000BASE-T ports in a stack of 48-port
switches are providing 1000 Mbps connectivity through stackable switches.
In addition, the switches are also connecting several servers at 1000 Mbps.
