Section 8 | Changing the Password
on the SMC2482W
For network security,it is a good idea to change the EZ
Connect
TM
Turbo Wireless Bridge’s default password.To change
the password on your SMC2482W,follow the steps outlined
below:
1. Log into the SMC2482W using the Web-based Utility.
(See section 4.2 for more information)
2. Click on [Advanced Setup] link.
3. The default page is the [System] section.Click on
[Password Settings] option.
Note: From this section,you can also change the idle Time-Out
option. This is the amount of time that Web-based Utility
will stay logged in without activity.
