1. In the left navigation bar, click Advanced Setup > Routing > RIP, and then click Add. The following page appears.
2. Fill in the fields, using the information in the table below.
3. Click Apply/Save to commit your changes.
The fields on this page are explained in the following table.
Field Name Description
Interface Available WAN interfaces.
Version Select the applicable Routing Interface Protocol version. Options are:

Operation Select the operation mode. Options are:
l Active: This mode listens and advertises routes.
l Passive: This mode listens only. It does not advertise routes. This is the default.
Enabled Click the checkbox to employ RIP on the displayed interface.
