MAINTENANCE
• Occasional cleaning of the lter pads will be necessary to
ensure the proper functioning of the lter. The coarse lter pad
is a designed to trap large debris. The ne lter pad catches
smaller particles. All pads should be removed and washed with
clean water when they are visibly soiled - for best results, clean
the lter pads weekly.
• Before cleaning, always disconnect the pump from the power
source.
• Filter pads should be replaced annually. Use smartpond
®
Replacement Filter Pads model #MFRP or #MFRPCA.
