When mounting base 1123 with FME con-
nector, secure good contact by screwing the
connector tight into the base.
IMPORTANT!
Tighten by hand to ensure the rubber seal
seat properly. Then tighten the base with a
key a further 1,5–2 turns (preferably A-32487).
Independent of surface inclination, the
radiator can always be mounted vertically. To
secure good grounding to the car, clean the
underside of the sheetmetal before mount-
ing. Treat the surface with an anti-corrosive
agent of low viscosity like Tectyle.
